This site is a tribute to Roger Parkes. 
Roger had a zest for life, and living it to the max.

We lived in villages in Nottinghamshire with our two sons Adam and Thomas.We then went on to live in Spain, Brittany and the French Alps collecting so many friends on our way. We then came to dear Kingsbridge and felt at home the moment we arrived, making a fabulous collection of very special and very diverse friends

Roger so bravely fought cancer for nearly three years with perseverance and bravery endured so much pain without self pity, always seeking an ‘all clear’ result at the end of his treatment. So many nurses became his friends remembering his name and we thank all staff at the NHS for their dedication 

we fought Cancer together so completely, love can help you endure so much… But now I feel Roger is beside me..looking after me and caring for me
i’m not saying goodbye but “stay with me, my lovely Man”
